Instead of placing advertising all over the website, we have opted for one 120x600 banner on the right hand side of every page on the site. This means that although the advertising is visible on each page, it is not intrusive to visitors to the website.
The reason for this is that research has shown that too many advertisements on a website can distract and indeed annoy visitors who will simply just go somewhere else to find information that that they need.
Advertising Your Business
As there is just one advert per page, we have set every page up so that every time a page loads, a random banner from our list of advertisers gets loaded.
We have purposely set it up this way so that every advert has an equal chance of appearing on the page.
