The pub was completely gutted and renovated from scratch when Pete and Bet took over six years ago, and many who visit the pub now are struck by how different it is from how they remember it.

The entire pub is now open plan with all new furnishings throughout. Please see our Gallery to view our pub.

Pub Sports

We are the number one pub in Runcorn for darts. We have four male and one female darts teams playing in the Runcorn League, with some of the best players in the town playing from the pub. We also have two teams in the Cheshire Super League.

As well as darts, we also have some excellent teams in other pub sports. Navigation are in Division One in the Runcorn Pool League and we also have three teams playing from the pub in the Runcorn Dominoes League.

Navvi Backroom and Navvi Mixed are in Division One, with Navvi in Division Two.
