The Travellers Rest, better known as "The Tup" is a family run pub, ideally located for anybody visiting Runcorn Hill. Known locally for quality food and drink. Serving fresh homemade meals using local produce from cowards butchers located in Frodsham and fresh seasonal vegatables.

With seperate dining area which accomodates upto fifty covers for meals. We also provide hot and cold buffets for wakes, Weddings, Christenings and general parties. A large beer garden to the rear of the building which is great in the summer months where we often get the bbq out also catering for private party's outside.

Food is served Monday to Friday 12-7pm, Saturday 12-5pm and our popular Sunday lunches 12-5pm. With prior notice food can be served outside these hours. We serve a variety of different food from hot and cold baguettes to home made lasagne and currys.

We have a pool team of whom play in section one of the Runcorn pool league and three darts teams, We are always on the look for new players. Anyone interested please ask behind the bar. Also we have our very own golf society please visit the whats on guide for more infomation.

We show live premiership, Champions league, Europa league and domestic cup football, Fixtures will be posted weekly in the whats on section.New to The Tup is Texas hold em poker on tuesday nights with just £5 entry fee game starts at 8pm sharp.
